Elegance and pride


After many years without changing their uniforms, the client wanted to revamp the brand image of their staff to enhance the shopping experience across their more than 60 retail outlets. The challenge was to create a look that complemented the new image of the shops and the brand, was practical for the staff, and, above all, one that they would wear with pride.

We wanted to put a new spin on the concept of the apron by combining it with a more classic garment: the waistcoat. But it’s not two pieces, it’s one – an optical illusion that would add a distinctive touch to the uniform. The apron’s design features a fitted waist, side panels and a four-button placket to create precisely that visual impression of a waistcoat (especially whilst staff are behind the counter). The straps, which are a darker colour than the apron, can be detached using a system of press studs and loops. As for the cap, we’ve opted for one with a stylish look.
