Mamula Island
History Turned into a Uniform

Merchandise people keep. Brands they remember. Design, production, and management of branded merchandise for teams and customers.
The challenge was to enhance the brand experience through uniforms, creating an exclusive design that would convey luxury, history, and local culture. The uniforms had to complement the hotel’s architecture and the unique character of the location, while also adapting to the local climate, the hotel’s various spaces, and the diversity of ranks and roles.

The project is approached from a perspective deeply rooted in its location. The design draws on the local culture of Montenegro and the hotel’s own architecture, featuring relaxed silhouettes, neutral colors, and a timeless aesthetic that reinforces a sense of calm and exclusivity. The approach balances functionality and storytelling: garments designed for real-world use in a demanding environment, without compromising the historical character and level of sophistication that define the Mamula Island experience. Layering and carefully integrated details create a cohesive visual identity throughout all hotel spaces. A collection that engages with the fortress. The collection spans from front-office teams to operational and service staff, adapting to each role while maintaining visual consistency. Mao-collar shirts, polo shirts, and nature-inspired trousers coexist with iconic pieces such as the kimono and vest, which become distinctive elements of the project. The design incorporates details inspired by local culture—gold finishes and decorative closures—along with high-quality fabrics reminiscent of linen, specifically selected to ensure durability and ease of use in daily operations. For restaurant teams, a pareo-style apron is introduced, fostering a sense of connection and enhancing the service experience. The color palette is drawn directly from the hotel’s visual universe—from its graphic identity to its architectural tones—ensuring seamless integration between space, staff, and experience. The result is a collection that reinforces Mamula Island’s uniqueness, elevates its sense of exclusivity, and accompanies the guest from the very first point of contact, making uniform design an essential part of the island’s narrative.
