The Challenge
The Hotel Casa de las Artes belongs to the Meliá Collection of luxury hotels. An establishment inspired by the Barrio de las Letras in Madrid that needed a uniformity worthy of the praise of your mercies.
As designers, we sometimes come across gifts like the Hotel Casa de las Artes. A luxury hotel concept with fertile creativity that made our job easy. Cervantes, the Golden Age and the colors white, black and terracotta starred in the Meliá Collection brief.
For these reception and lounge uniforms we designed several garments with special details, such as ruffles on the collar and placket. We added color contrasts within the same garment, with different fabrics and buttons to create a unique outfit.
The result was a special collection, made up of a black and white dress with ruffles on the carpet, shirts with asymmetrical ruffles and French-cut aprons in terracotta.
