The Challenge

The new image of Your Friends Are Boring (YFAB) could be many things except boring. We proposed a new brand identity that users could identify with and that would reinforce the core of YFAB throughout the entire conversion funnel.

A bridge to cross

Your Friends Are Boring's value proposition is also its main barrier to entry. Traveling alone is difficult, and the brand's customers see it as a challenge. That's why we decided to include a metaphorical element in the logo that represents that moment of uncertainty before embarking on the first trip: a bridge that connects our initials and forms the spiral of our isotype.

We designed a vibrant color scheme that transports the user to a day of surfing in Morocco, a night in the Philippines, or an adventure in the Caribbean.

Those who travel with YFAB don't just catch good waves. They enjoy an experience that helps them break out of their routine and stays in their minds for years to come. Just like summer camps when we were kids. That's why we include brand elements that remind them of that time in their childhood, such as badges for travelers or stories in our email marketing.
