The Challenge
After the success of ERRE & Urrechu at the Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá in Marbella, the brand opens its new location in the capital city of Barcelona. This ERRE & Urrechu needed a sophisticated look that would fit in with the Gran Meliá hotel, but also differential, that would expand the unique identity of the new restaurant.
We started with the concept of the ember, with a palette of warm greens along with ochers and beiges, which worked very well with the environment and the chocolate tones of the hotel uniforms.
Other details that complement this textile branding are the textures chosen or the details of the leathers, as well as the handkerchief with a unique print. To finish, we added some golden details to reflect the sophistication of the environment.
The waiters' ensemble consists of a sophisticated white shirt with branded details on the sleeve, khaki pants and a two-tone apron. For the maître d' and head waiter ranks we opted for beige or pale green suits, combined with a handkerchief and light blazers in shades of green.
ERRE is a steakhouse led by grill master Íñigo Urrechu who, together with the Gran Meliá team, is launching this culinary experience in Barcelona.
Located in the hotel lobby, this grill takes great care in the choice of ingredients, prioritizing seasonal organic vegetables, fish and the best meats. Its wine list has more than 200 references.
