Grupo Gastroadictos is a Valencian hospitality group that has successfully forged its own identity through its venues: spaces with a neighborhood vibe, where tradition, local ingredients, and community take center stage. Beyond the restaurant business, Gastroadictos represents a way of understanding gastronomy and experiencing it as a team.

The Challenge

The challenge was to develop a garment that would identify the team at both internal and external events and settings, without resorting to a rigid uniform. The design had to be versatile, adaptable to each individual, and consistent with the brand’s essence, allowing each team member to make it their own without losing the team’s collective identity.

The solution is built around a single garment: an overshirt designed to serve as a versatile, cross-functional staple. It’s a piece that works equally well in both formal and informal settings, adapting to different styles, body types, and situations, while always maintaining a clear brand identity.

The design draws inspiration from a very specific region: the Mediterranean, with its light, clean lines, and rich culinary tradition. From this foundation, a garment is created that connects with the world of gastronomy without replicating a traditional chef’s jacket, yet retaining its essence. The result is a contemporary reinterpretation that translates the language of the kitchen into a more open and versatile context.

The garment's design plays with color blocking and contrasts, drawing inspiration from elements such as tiles, ingredients, and the visual elements of Mediterranean cuisine. The beige body is paired with a brown yoke, creating a balanced, warm, and versatile piece.

Identity in every detail

The overshirt features various customization details that subtly incorporate the brand. The embroidery is strategically placed—on the front, pocket, yoke, and cuffs—highlighting the Gastroadictos brand without overwhelming the garment.

One of the most distinctive elements is the frying pan, the group’s symbol, which serves as a recurring motif throughout the various details. It is particularly prominent on the back, as well as in smaller details, such as the embroidery around the buttonhole.

The yellow buttons, inspired by egg yolks, offer a direct nod to the world of gastronomy, introducing a touch of contrast that connects with the culinary world in a subtle yet recognizable way.

The result is a garment that goes beyond mere uniformity: a piece with its own identity, capable of adapting to each person and every situation, and one that allows the Gastroadictos team to present themselves as they truly are—a group united by a passion for gastronomy—even outside their restaurants.
